The Government of Karnataka is inviting Online Application from young and enthusiastic candidates for filling up 1180 vacant posts of Excise Guard Male, Female and Excise Sub Inspector in 2017. The interested candidates can apply online for KPSC Excise Guard Recruitment 2017 from 28th February 2017 via official web portal at www.kpsc.kar.nic.in. The candidates are advised to complete Application Submission Online Process within prescribed time limit, because Karnataka Public Service Commission will not entertain any Application after 30th March 2017.

Age Limit:

As on 30th March 2017, Age of the candidate must be within the criteria given below:

• Excise Sub Inspector: Minimum 21 Years and Not More than 26 Years
• Excise Guard: Minimum 18 Years and Not More than 26 Years

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit will be given to Reserved Categories candidates of Karnataka State as per Government Rules.

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must have passed following exam/qualification from a government recognized university or education board:

• Excise Sub Inspector: Graduate Degree in any discipline.
• Excise Guard: SSLC or Equivalent Examination.

In addition to above qualifications, the candidates must meet required Physical Fitness Standards and Medical Standards given by Karnataka PSC.

Process of Selection:

The Karnataka PSC Board will select the candidates through following stages of recruitment:

1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
2. Physical Endurance Test (PET)
3. Visibility Test
4. Written Exam
5. Medical Exam

Verification of Documents is also a part of Selection Process and it will be conducted by Karnataka PSC.
